Qualified volunteers matching the "MelZoo spirit & professionalism" may be invited at a later stage to work on a professional (paid) basis. Joining us early on may result in an executive management position later! However, do bear in mind that currently we are only offering "blood sweat & tears" and no promises. Open positions for volunteers

Software programmers

• Description:
  • Developers responsible for new features on MelZoo.com
• Software languages:
  • PHP5 with Object Oriented Programming
  • MySQL5
• Profile: Minimum 2 years of programming

Management

• Description:
  • Managers responsible for the setup of new projects for MelZoo.com (for example our own webmail service, video website, flash gaming site)
• Attitude:
  • Entrepreneurial people, that can build something from zero.
  • Creativity is a very important field in this domain.
  • But most important these people must be 100% result oriented, because at the end of the day this is the only thing that matters.
• Profile:
  • Have experience in the field of Management.

E-marketing people

• Description:
  • You will be responsible to market MelZoo.com on the internet, through different channels
• Attitude:
  • Firmly believing in the fact that MelZoo will become the world's leading search engine
• Profile:
  • Experience in the field of marketing

Graphics artists

• Description:
  • Creative artists who will shape the look and feel of our innovative projects
• Attitude:
  • Highly creative people who have a strong feeling of what the future of the web should look like.
  • Ability to create stunning graphics in limited circumstances (i.e. small devices or simple and elegant designs in a function centered application)
• Profile:
  • Experience as a creative professional for several years, or naturally gifted artists

Adminstrative people

• Description:
  • Administrative personel responsible for administration of the MelZoo organization (administrative tasks)
• Attitude:
  • Prepared to take on large tasks.
  • You are very good in administration and you can do this correctly and fast.
• Experience:
  • Have experience in administration.

Corporate Finance people

• Description:
  • To become the world's leading search engine we will need to do acquisitions, equity raising, debt raising, etc... You will be responsible to structure deals, organise 'beauty contests', organise fundraising , set up offering memorandums,...
• Attitude:
  • Passionate about building corporations through capital raising, acquisitions, etc...
  • You love the excitement of creating a multi-national organization through the powers of Corporate finance.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 4 years with a large corporate finance house, bank, M&A boutique.

Lawyers and Legal professionals

• Description:
  • We are looking for Lawyers and Legal Professionals, who can assist us with all the legal matter of MelZoo.com.
• Attitude:
  • You love the legal side of doing business and you find you are passionate about setting up legal structures.
• Profile:
  • Fully legally educated and minimum of 3 years experience.

Consulting people

• Description:
  • You possess a specific know-how and expertise that can contribute to the growth of MelZoo.com ( for example recruiting)
• Attitude:
  • You master this specific know-how perfectly.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in this specific field.

We must clearly stipulate that these positions are totally result oriented and that results must be achieved within a certain pre-determined time-frame. Volunteering at MelZoo is not a walk in the park. But don't worry having fun is one of the basic principles of MelZoo.

Although we are more than happy with every application that we receive from possible volunteers, we can only select a couple of short-listed applicants.

Volunteers contributing substantially to the creation of MelZoo will receive an official MelZoo Recognition. This certificate can be used in their further career as a reference.
